Who am I?
`
I can’t exactly say, at least not in effortless electronic taps picked from a drop-down menu on a monitor. Certainly not the easy-breezy black and white, I dance more asymetrical between the dappled shades of grey … the people whom I surround myself with as well, and I find unpolished, impromtu characters fit best in my life, providing intriguing expressions and plot.
… I am fondly known as the ‘adored laundry queen’ to my family. And I care for two adopted pound puppies, one senior dog, a temperamental cat and an eight-year-old newt. Yes, a newt! Ugh. It’s the blood worms I must feed him, which I dislike!
I get enjoyment from a mojito blend of rural, city and sea, which I attain by stealing away to my 100 year old retreat cottage in rural Kentucky. And, I also enjoy moving to the beats of the pulsed streets of NYC and or going awry on the Straits of Mackinac Michigan.
I collect seaballs (still searching for my elusive cranberry ball) and old Elvis and Beatles records. There’s something about pursuing the collection of rare old vinyl and these are two of my favorites…
I love Gummi Bears, and can consume a bag in record breaking time and I’ll promise to be your friend forever if you’ll share yours.
I’m wicked-good with a hammer and paint brush and love giving my time and talent to the wonderful organization, Habitat for Humanity, and I adore senior citizens.
The beautiful white shepherd below my pic… That’d be my Lucy Rose, my snow shadow, my smile, the eternal laughter of my soul.
`
Lastly, I dated a famous rock star. Indeed, and no, neither I or my family will reveal… well, okay, maybe in book two. ; )

Thanks so much for your good wishes. It’s always just a little more special when you hear from other writers–we’ve all traveled the same difficult roads! C.K.

Paulette, my friend!
thanks, sweetie, but I doubt that I’ll ever be able to relinquish my laundry-queen crown, even if I could. And you know me far too well to think I’d ever be a clothes-horse. ;* )
Cheers to you and all the critters. I’ll come across the pond soon….

Hi Kim,
I’m reluctant to read these other posts because I’ll be bumming if I find out your notes to them were as sweet as the one to me.
Thanks so much for the holiday wishes! I emphatically return them all to you with extra oomph.
So kind of you to read my blog and to comment. I’m deeply flattered.
Best,
Chris R.

dear kim
i emailed you not too long ago about your book; when will it be available? i truly want to read it. i was in two orphanages in pittsburgh, pa and was abused by sisters of mercy and sisters of nazareth and father mccarren’s breach of fiduciary crimes. i identify with the words you used to step back emotionally and i can imagine how challenging it must have been to write the book. thanks for sharing kim and i look forward to your book and hope much for your success.
graciously,
rosemary
