I finished all my edits and wrapped it up last night.
Yesterday, I received a surprise party out at my retreat cottage, Summershade. I saw people I hadn’t seen in years–a really special surprise!
The only snag was: three people decided to sit on my porch swing. :ahem: I turned around to find them sitting on the ground and Joyce yelling, “I’ve always loved your farm.”
Translated to mean: Call your lawyer, Kimmi!

I’m just waiting to receive my ms back from agent. Then edit!
I’ve joined an online book-club, which my newspaper is hosting.
The first book to read is The Faith Club, by Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver, and Patricia Warner. I look forward to reading it!

Seems like we’ve been waiting forever for this Friday! Ali Johnson got a two book deal with Dorchester — yeah, Ali baby! Lily is waiting to hear from a pub house — go Lil! And also, I got some awesome news.
This week has felt like a gift — which reminds me, Dave gave me some good advice regarding my good fortune: “put the gift in your golden mind, store it for the time when the poverty of pain hits you again.”
